In order to make the 2012 Dinagyang Festival more spectacular event and to attract more guests and tourists, the Dinagyang Festival organizers will be implementing changes.

In the recent launching of the 2012 festival at SM City Iloilo, Mabilog led in the signing of a memorandum of agreement with Fr. Achilles Secio of the San Jose Parish and the Iloilo Dinagyang Foundation Inc. Chairman Ramon Cua Locsin in a tripartite hosting of the city’s premier tourist attraction signifying a strong public private partnership.
Mabilog said the changes would include the Sto Nino image of the Parish of Sto Nino de Arevalo to meet and greet the arrival of the Sto Nino de Cebu. Another major change includes the staging of the first performance at the Iloilo Sports complex that will accommodate more than 30,000 people.
The four performance areas are the sports complex, front of Western Institute of Iloilo, Iloilo provincial capitol and the last at the Iloilo Freedom Grandstand.
